Erica Oesterreich was born a scrapbooker and has been taking pictures all of her life. She graduated from Western Oregon University in 1997 with a Bachelor degree in Business Marketing and a Bachelor degree in Psychology. It was this same year that she picked up her first pair of decorative scissors and patterned paper. She fell in love with scrapbooking.

Erica founded PersonalScrapper.com in 2001 after quitting her marketing job to stay home with her infant son. She has taught thousands about scrapbooking by appearing on the AM Northwest TV show, the NW Living show, Parenting magazine and in the Portland Business Journal. She has created over 1000 pages for other people.

Erica attended Creating Keepsakes University and received her scrapbooking degree in 2002. In December 2003, Erica expanded Personalscrapper.com to host a monthly scrapbook club. Every month, club members receive a kit filled with many great products to create several unique scrapbook pages.
